The AQI refers to Air Quality Index for reporting daily air quality. It tells you how clean or polluted your air is, and what associated health effects might be a concern for you. The AQI focuses on health effects you may experience within a few hours or days after breathing polluted air. Each range is assigned a descriptor, a color code, and a standardized public health advisory.

 

iCare AP-1701-A (Germagic 3-in-1 HEPA) filter is applying the new germicidal technology, Germagic. Germagic uses nano-capsules to controlled-release the reactive Oxygen Species (ROS). It’s an antimicrobial coating which gives "contact-killing", "release-killing" and "anti-adhesion" abilities to HEPA filters. It’s high effective to kill 7 virus over 99%, such as type A influenza (H1N1, H3N2, H7N9), type B influenza, MERS-CoV, swine flu, and EV71 (the cause of hand-foot-mouth disease).

It’s easy to open the cover and pull out the filter inside without any tool. It’s suggested to use vacuum to clean the surface of the filter, especially the activated carbon layer. An alternative way is to use small brush (must be clean and dry) to clean. DO NOT WASH THE FILTERS BY WATER.
